WITTENBERG, Ohio. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Wittenberg and took down Carthage in the CWPA Regional Tournament 2 on Saturday.

Game 1
* Behrend fell to Wittenberg, 9-5 on Saturday at the CWPA Regional Tournament
* The Lions fell behind 2-0 after the first period and were unable to overcome the deficit
* Shannon Young (Roseville, CA/Roseville) led the team with three goals while Sarah Mancebo (Tulare, CA/Mission Oak) and Viviana Euan (La Habra, CA/Troy) each contributed one
* Chloe Dodgen (Riverside, CA/Hillcrest) tallied 10 saves and two steals in the net

Game 2
* Behrend came out strong, matching Carthage at 2-2 after the first period
* The Lions outscored the Lady Reds in the second and third periods (3-1, 3-2) 
* Young led the team with three goals and two assists
* Angela Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) chipped in three goals
* Dodgen had a season-high 20 saves in goal, registering the win
