ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Mercyhurst and Wittenberg on the first day of the Curtis Robinette Memorial Invite, hosted by the Lakers at the Hagerty Events Center on Saturday.

Final Scores: Mercyhurst 19, Behrend 10; Wittenberg 11, Behrend 9

* The Lions scored 19 goals over two games led by Nic Darrell's (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) seven goals
* Darrell tallied three goals vs. Mercyhurst and then scored four more in game two
* Darrell also made 10 steals against the Lakers, tying a 19-year old team record for most steals in a game
