ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team defeated Utica 14-7 on the final day of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Regional Tournament hosted in the Junker Center.

Key Moments:
* Eleven different players scored in the team effort to get the Lions first win of the season
* Marley Persch (Hudsonville, MI/Hudsonville) and Olivia Thomas (Winter Springs, FL/Winter Springs) each scored a pair of goals
* Persch had two of the six first quarter goals to help Behrend take a 6-2 lead after the first eight minutes of play
* The Lions added four more goals in the second to take a commanding 10-3 lead at the half
* Each team tallied four goals over the final two quarters for the final 14-7 margin
