Hlavinka Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Junior outfielder John Hlavinka (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) was selected as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week, announced Monday.

Hlavinka led the Lions to a 6-2 start to the season in Fort Pierce, Florida, hitting .485 for the eight game stretch. He smashed five doubles and drove in eight RBI's, while reaching base at a .541 clip. Hlavinka walked four times and added two stolen bases.

Behrend returns to action this Saturday at Dickinson for a doubleheader. First pitch is at 1:00 p.m.
