Fellow senior Pat Petraglia (Pittsburgh/Chartiers Valley) is also coming off of a stellar season in which he was also named to the All-Conference team.  Petraglia showed up big in the conference tournament for the blue and white earning medalist honors with a tournament best round of 70 on the first day and an 80 on the second.  At the La Roche Invitational, the senior led the team and finished second overall in the tournament with a score of 76.

"We will be up against some very tough schools and individuals, but I think if the guys play their game and don't get caught up in the environment, we will do fine," said AMCC Coach of the Year James Bowen.

The Penn State Behrend men's golf team captured the 2009 AMCC Championship on Monday, October 5 at Tom's Run Golf Resort in Blairsville, Pennsylvania by shooting a score of 617 over two days of action.  The blue and white took home the title on a tiebreaker as Penn State Altoona also finished the championship with a team total of 617.
