Women's Soccer Downs Mt. Aloysius; Lions Advance to AMCC Final

ERIE, Pa. – The No. 1 Penn State Behrend women's soccer team advances to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship game with a 4-0 win over No. 4 Mt. Aloysius in the semifinals on Wednesday night.

* Kristi Buckenheimer (Beaver, PA/Beaver Area) registered her first multiple-goal game of her career to lead the Lions
* Buckenheimer not only kept Mt. Aloysius off the scoreboard, but she tallied the game winner off a penalty kick
* With 3:34 left to play in the first half, Behrend was awarded a penalty kick with a foul on Lizzie Hoff (Moon, PA/Moon) in the box
* Buckenheimer converted her second PK of the season and netted her fifth goal of the season for a 1-0 lea
* The senior defender struck again to start the second half off a corner kick
* Ashley Ornowski (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) took the corner kick in the 52nd minute and Buckenheimer sent a low-trajectory shot after collecting the ball amongst a scramble

* Less than four minutes later, Nicole Croushore (Smithton, PA/Yough) tallied her first goal of the season off a pass from Audra Kuzma (Center, PA/Central Valley)
* Immediately after a direct kick, Kuzma kicked the ball back to Croushore for the fourth goal of the game
* Riley Morningstar (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) endured the cold and made two saves on both shots taken on goal for her 11th win
