Penn State Behrend sophomore Jon Bacon(Glendale, CA/Crespi Carmelite) has been named the ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week for the week of September 22, 2008.
Over the weekend Bacon scored six goals and had three assists to
lead the Behrend Lions water polo team to a 1-1 weekend.
Bacon scored three goals and had three assists in a loss to the
Washington and Jefferson. He also contributed three goals in
the 14-3 win against Salem International.
The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team is now 1-2 on the year
after tough matches against local rival Mercyhurst and Washington
and Jefferson.
The Behrend Lions will look to improve on the 1-2 start when they travel to Gannon University on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. They will then host Mercyhurst and Salem International on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Junker Center pool.
