Women's Swimming and Diving Heads to Wells

AURORA, NY - The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team are headed to take on the Wells Express for a non-conference meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday. No fans are permitted.

* The Behrend Lions are on the road for the final three meets, including today at the Schwartz Athletic Center vs. Wells
* The Lions are coming off a 155-80 win over Penn State Altoona on March 13
* Individually, Marcella Puglia (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) and Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) each won two events on the day
* Puglia finished first in the freestyle distance events, while Cessar sprinted to the victory in the breaststroke
* Newcomers Emma Webster and Natalia Santilli (Bridgeville, PA/Chartiers Valley) grabbed the top time in the 100 backstroke and the 50 backstroke, respectively

* The Express are coming off a 133-109 loss to Cazenovia on Saturday, Feb. 20
* Wells will honor lone senior Jeanna Swift at the meet
* The meet against the Lions is the season finale for the Express
