Behrend Wrestling Finalizes 22 Newcomers For 2023-24 Campaign

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team has finalized its largest recruiting class in program history with 22 newcomers set to begin their Lion careers during the 2023-24 season. The past accomplishments for these roster additions includes three state medalists, eight state qualifiers, and an abundance of wins from up to down in weight classes.

Taking the mat for their first season with the Lions are state medalists Peyton Hearn (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut), Martin Ohlsson (Westfield, N.Y./Westfield Academy), and CJ Mullings (Stratford, CT/Frank Scott Bunnell).

State qualifiers suiting up this year are Sebastian Chiesa (West Springfield, PA/Northwestern), Brodie Little (Falconer, NY/Falconer Central), Alexander Wisdom (Plantation, FL/American Heritage), Hunter Williams (Bothell, WA/North Creek), and Eric Morales (San Antonio, TX/Burbank).

The incoming class includes 11 wrestlers from Pennsylvania, four from New York, and one each from Washington, Florida, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Texas, and New Jersey.
