ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend wrestling coach Caleb Garvey has announced the 2023-24 schedule.

The Lions will begin the new campaign at the Alvernia Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 4, starting at 9:00 a.m.

To complete November, Behrend will travel to Pitt-Bradford (Nov. 7), Washington & Jefferson (Nov. 11), Saint Vincent (Nov. 14), and Baldwin Wallace (Nov. 18).

The month of December kicks off with a match at the RIT Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 2. Then, the Lions will host their first match of the season, welcoming Waynesburg on Friday, Dec. 8. The team wraps up 2023 on Saturday, Dec. 16 at Niagara County Community College.

Coming back from winter break in January, Behrend will have home events against Wheeling (Jan. 9) and Ohio Wesleyan (Jan. 27), while making trips to St. John Fisher (Jan. 17) and Jamestown Community College (Jan. 28).The pivotal meet this month is the AMCC Quad which takes place on Saturday, Jan. 13 and is hosted by Hiram, start time is slated for 11:00 a.m.

The Lions final prep before AMCC Championships is a quad home meet against Gannon, Case Western, and Jamestown Community College on Friday, Feb. 2 and a dual meet at Thiel on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, Behrend competes in the AMCC Championships at Alfred State.

The NCAA DIII Southeast Regional is scheduled for Friday, March 1, while the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships is set for March 15-16 at the La Crosse Center in Wisconsin.
