On Friday, July 2, the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (CWPA) announced the 2010 Women's All Academic Awards. Penn State Behrend had six players honored for academic excellence.
The CWPA recognizes student-athletes based on qualifiying by specific grade point average achievement. The categories are Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41), and Excellent (3.40-3.20).
Senior goalkeeper Jenna (Zeyfang) Cotherman (Erie, PA/First Academy), junior Jilian Sebrosky (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park), and senior Danielle Wilson (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) earned Outstanding recognition. Freshman Kelly Wehner (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy), sophomore Hillary MacManus (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver Falls), and freshman Kim Bellentine (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Marion) all earned Excellent honors.
