Women's Water Polo Ranked Third in CWPA Division III Top 5 Poll

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team has moved into a tie for third place in the most recent Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Top 5.

After previously being unranked, the Lions (4-8) earned 87 points in the poll and are tied with Carthage College for the number three spot. The ranking marks the highest selection of any Penn State Behrend water polo team in the history of men's/women's Division III. The Lions are three wins away from setting a new school record for most wins in a season.

Behrend, riding the longest winning streak in program history at three in a row, will head to Connecticut College this weekend for the second CWPA regional with five games on the schedule. The Lions take on Macalester Friday at 7 p.m.
