ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's water polo standouts Brittany Pinter (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Taylor Reed (York, PA/Central York) earned Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

Both helped the Lions to a 2-3 record a week ago at the CWPA Regional II at Connecticut College. Pinter and Reed both accounted for five goals across the five games including three-goal performances each against Connecticut College. The duo also helped Behrend tie the program mark for most wins in a season with a 6-5 defeat of Utica Saturday night.

The Lions return to action tonight for their second game in as many days against local foe Gannon. The game is slated to start at 8 p.m.
