Pinter, Horn Selected to CWPA All-Conference; Horn Earns Rookie of the Year

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend Women's water polo standouts Brittany Pinter (Erie, PA /McDowell) and Maryn Horn (Houston, TX/Jersey Village) were selected to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Second Team All-Conference. Horn also garnered the Rookie of the Year award.

Pinter is a second team selection for the second straight year. The sophomore leads Behrend with 33 steals and 13 assists and is third on the team in goals with 15.

Horn is the first-ever Behrend Lion to take down the Rookie of the Year Award. As a freshman, she has stepped into the Lions lineup providing a team-leading 20 goals while also adding 16 steals and eight assists.

The Lions are looking to break the program's all-time win mark this weekend when they kick off the CWPA Division III Championships hosted by Grove City. Behrend is the six seed and will take on third seeded Carthage Friday at 8 p.m.
