ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team will hold their annual PSB Invitational at the Behrend Fields on Friday, Sep. 15. The 6K race begins at 6:00 p.m.

News & Notes

* The Lions are running their first 6K race of the year
* Behrend began the season with a 5K at the Westminster Invitational on Sep. 1, placing fourth overall
* Junior Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) was the top finisher for the Lions running a time of 19:29.37 for a fifth-place finish
* Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) notched a top 10 finish, placing seventh with a time of 19:45.20
* As a team, Behrend finished second last season after winning the invite during the 2019 and 2021 seasons
* Last season, Savanna Carr (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) ran a time of 23:30.1 for an eighth-place finish to lead the Lions
* Nola finished ninth (23:51.4), while Hartle and sophomore Bethany Litwiler (Reynolds, PA/Reynolds) placed 11^th and 14^th respectively
