BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team will compete in the AMCC Championships, hosted by Hilbert. The 6k race begins at noon at Delaware Park in Buffalo, N.Y.

* Behrend is in search of its fifth consecutive title and 13th overall championship
* Senior Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin) is the reigning AMCC Individual Champion, winning AMCC Runner of the Year three times in her career
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) was the AMCC Runner-Up a season ago and currently owns the top 6k time in the AMCC, running a 23:03.6 at the Houghton Highlander Invitational
* As a team, the Lions control the top 12 times in the conference this season
* Followed by Nola on the rankings list is Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth), who owns the second, third, sixth, and seventh top times
* Carr sits on the chart with the fourth, fifth, and eighth top marks, while Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) and Bethany Litwiler (Reynolds, PA/Reynolds) are 10th and 11th, respectively
* The Top 10 runners of Saturday's race will be named to the AMCC All-Conference Team
