Behrend Takes Early Lead in AMCC Presidents Cup Standings

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend Athletics heads into the winter season with a lead in the 2023-24 Presidents Cup Standings. The Lions won three fall Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships to earn 49.5 points out of a possible 56.

The standing are calculated on a percentage of points earned divided by the total possible points. It factors in both regular season and post-season finish to provide a weighted measure of success. Behrend holds a league-high ranking of 0.884 after winning conference title men's and women's cross country and women's soccer, while finishing runners up in women's tennis.

Penn State Altoona is in second place with a 76.1 ranking percentage and Alfred State sits a close third with a 75.6 ranking percentage.

The Lions are looking to capture their 21st Presidents Cup since the award was initiated in the 2000-2001 academic year.
