ERIE, Pa. – In honor of Division III Week, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) is recognizing student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher as of the Fall 2023 semester as Academic All-Conference.

The Behrend Lions had 182 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Conference Team. Out of the 182 athletes, the Lions had 120 earning individual Peak Performers for posting a GPA of 3.5 or higher. The Lions also had 59 student-athletes selected for induction into Chi Alpha Sigma, a National Collegiate Student-Athlete Honor Society, which recognizes both academic performance, leadership and character for selected juniors and seniors.

Across the conference, 1,067 student-athletes achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher as of the Fall 2023 semester, earning the distinction of being named Academic All-Conference. Sixty-seven percent (710) of those individuals were tabbed Individual Peak Performers for earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
