ERIE, Pa. – Sophomore Kevin Smith (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Volleyball Athlete of the Week, announced on Monday.

Smith led the Lions (5-2, 3-1 UVC) to a 2-1 record over the weekend at the UVC Crossover hosted by MIT.  The middle hitter totaled 27 kills, 12 blocks and six digs over the three matches. He hit .571 with 13 kills and one error in the win over Bard and then had six kills and six blocks in the upset of No. 9 NYU.

Behrend returns to action on Wednesday at Thiel. The non-conference match begins at 7 p.m.
