ERIE, Pa.  – Freshmen JT Lippert (Pittsburgh, PA/Keystone Oaks), Antonio Vazquez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/UHS) and sophomore Josh Oertly (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) have been named to the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Academic list for the 2013-14 season.

The UVC recognized 57 student-athletes from the league's 12 full-time members for their contributions on the court and their excellence in the classroom. Recipients of this honor must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a scale of 5.00) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) during the entire 2013-14 academic year.

In addition, the student-athlete must display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.

This marks the first year the UVC has recognized academic achievement with all 57 student-athletes combining for a 3.63 GPA.
