Hatopp, Olimski Named to ACWPC All-America Team

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's water polo junior Isaak Hatopp (Saline, MI/Saline) and sophomore Matt Olimski (San Diego, CA/Otay Ranch) have been named to the 2018 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division III All-America Team.

Hatopp and Olimski were named All-Americans for the first time in their career. Both players helped the Lions finish in third place at the CWPA Division III Eastern Championships this season and fifth place at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships.

Olimski earned All-MPSF Honorable Mention and CWPA All-Tournament Second-Team honors earlier this season. The netminder finished the season with 199 saves, 38 steals and 10 assists. He set a new MPSF and program record for most saves in a game with 27 against Merychurst on Sept. 9. Olimski averaged 14.32 saves per game and posted a 0.55 save percentage.

Hatopp was a Division III Eastern All-Tournament First Team selection this season. He tallied 42 goals and 10 assists, while recording 39 steals and setting a new season record for field blocks with 18. Hatopp also registered 23 drawn exclusions.
