2016 Men's Cross Country Top Stories

The Penn State Behrend men's and women's cross country teams have been named USTFCCCA All-Academic for their combined work in the classroom this past season.

Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) was named to the All-Region team as he raced to a 33rd overall finish out of 351 runners at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Saturday afternoon hosted by DeSales.

Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) has been named the 2016 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year. He was the top individual finisher at the AMCC championship and led the Lions to a team conference title. He led Behrend to team victories in all but one race this season including first overall finishes in all but one race. At the Inter-Regional Boarder Clash, he recorded the fastest race in Behrend history with a time of 24:22.30.

Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) led the Penn State Behrend men's cross country team on Sunday en route to their sixth straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) title.

The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team competed in the Rowan in the Inter-Regional Boarder Battle, finishing 30th out of 43 teams.

Junior Dylan Buffington and freshman Riley Crissman and were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Runners of the Week for the week of Oct. 3-9.
