NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team competed at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* ​Senior Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA / Canon-McMillan) was the top-finisher in the field for the Lions with a distance of 16-8 ½ in the long jump
* ​Three Lions placed top-15 in the 100m dash with Kappeler finishing 10th (12.18, followed by Peyton Grimm (Sykesville, PA/DuBois Area) (13.20) in the 11th and Rylee Long (Slippery Rock, PA/Moniteau) (13.25) in 13th 
* ​Julia Balaski (Mercer, PA/Mercer) finished sixth in the javelin throw with a score of 110-0, while Jessica Park (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow) tallied a 10th place in the hammer throw (113-0)
* ​In the 3000m steeplechase, Bethany Litwiler (Reynolds, PA/Reynolds) registered a 10th-place time of 13:10.30
* ​The 4x1 relay team of Grimm, Long, Kappeler, and Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) crossed the finish line in 52.04 for fourth place
