ERIE, Pa. The Erie BayHawks have acquired and activated Russ Conley, former Erie practice player and Penn State Behrend standout. Conley, who holds the Behrend record for most points scored in a career with 1,771, is expected to make his NBA Development League debut tonight at 7:00 PM versus the Delaware 87ers.

Conley, who was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Year twice, led Behrend in scoring his senior season with 19.4 points per game to go along with his 7.9 rebounds per game. He later played professionally in Slovakia before heading back to Erie to become a practice player for the BayHawks. Conley attended Reynolds High School in Greenville, PA.

Conley is the first Penn State-Behrend player to make an NBA D-League roster and will wear number 20 tonight. All Behrend students receive free admission to both tonight's game and Saturday's final home game by showing their student ID at the box office.
