ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team registered its second dual-meet victory, defeating Chatham 134-32 in non-conference action on Friday night.

* The Lions won 10 of the 13 events, winning the top three places in four to defeat the Cougars
* Not one athlete won twice on the night, spreading out the points
* In the opening 400 medley relay, Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny), Anthony Tumino (Hershey, PA/Hershey), Jax Abele (Erie, PA/Iroquois) and Nevin Rutherford (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown) won with a time of 3:53.03
* Jacob Eshelman (Franklin, PA/Franklin) and Mike Pazuchanics (McMurry, PA/Peters Township) capture the distance events
* Eshelman won the 1000 free (10:38.78) and Pazuchanics touched first in the 500 free (5:30.62)
* In diving, Reilly Koch and Jacob Earley (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) each won on a different board
* Koch scored 194.65 on the one-meter board, while Earley had a 178.85 on the three-meter board
* In the 200 freestyle, Shane Rupert (Richland Township, PA/Pine-Richland) had the best time (1:54.60) for Behrend while Ahmed Ibrahim came in second and Cooper Thomas (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern Central) in third
* Jake Niziol (Eighty Four, PA/Ringgold) swam the 50 free, winning in 24:03, and David Hauptman (Titusville, PA/Titusville) followed with a first-place finish in the 200 IM (2:14.10)
* Ronan Murphy (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia) led the 1-2-3 finish in the 100 butterfly with a best time of 58.81
* Lastly, Noah Connor (Erie, PA/PA Cyber) got his first win of the season in the 100 backstroke (1:10.61)
