Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic as we enter the summer months, Penn State Behrend has made the decision to cancel all summer youth programming, including College for Kids and sports camps. We recognize the important role that our programs play in the engagement of area young people during the summer months. At the same time, our first priority in offering any programming must be to provide a safe and healthy environment for all participants. Given the interaction among participants inherent in our youth programs, we have determined it would not be possible to follow the protocols necessary to create such an environment.

Wait … Do you like a good scavenger hunt but with a twist? Then we have the answer for you. In the next couple of weeks we will be rolling out a Penn State Behrend version of this. It will include enrichment activities, outdoor adventure, sports, STEM challenges and more. It will be available for ages 1 to 101. We will be sending it out via email and announcing it on our Facebook page, Penn State Behrend Youth Education Outreach. (@PSBOutreach) Stay tuned for this new adventure.

By the way, if your family has registered for any summer sports camps, the Athletics Department will be refunding your registration fees.
