ERIE, Pa. – Senior Aaron Meehl and junior Jake Gamble, members of the Penn State Behrend men's soccer team, have been selected to play for the Erie Admirals S.C. team in the National Premier Soccer League this summer.

Danny Mudd, former men's soccer assistant and interim head women's soccer coach at Behrend, also fills the 30-player roster for the second straight season.  Gamble and Meehl were All-Region and All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) performers for the Lions, who finished the season with a 14-3-4 record and earned an ECAC postseason bid.

Gamble had a break-through sophomore year, scoring 17 goals to tie Behrend's all-time record for most goals in a season. He also led the AMCC in points with 39 and dished out five assists. Meehl, a two-time All-Region selection, tallied seven goals and six assists.

The Admirals begin the season on May 21 in the first of 12 home games played on Dollinger Field at the Cathedral Prep Events Center.
