ERIE, Pa.- The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team is ranked in the first Great Lakes Region Top 10 poll, announced today. The Lions are regionally ranked 10th and are grouped among the areas most elite Division III programs, including (1) Carnegie Mellon, (2) DePauw and (3) Ohio Wesleyan.
The Lions are currently 2-0-1 on the season, beating Utica and Baldwin-Wallace by an identical score of 2-1. Behrend's only tie came against Geneva in the season opener.
Behrend returns to action on Friday at 1 p.m. in Colorado Springs, CO, taking on McMurry in non-conference play.
