ERIE, Pa. – Four players on the Penn State Behrend men's water polo team were selected as Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF)/6-8 Sports All-Academic Scholar Athletes for the 2022 season.

Sophomores Sam Deeter (St. Louis, MO/Lindbergh) and Eugene Kruger (Pleasanton, CA/Foothill), and seniors Ryan Kenney (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen Valley) and Justin Brown (Healdsburg, CA/Cardinal Newman) were selected for the honor. Kenney has earned this award two years in a row.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better, must be at least a sophomore academically, the athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season, and must have completed in fifty percent or more of the competition in his or her respective sport.
