ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team hosts the Thiel Tomcats in their first home match since the New Year on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Erie Hall.

* The Lions fell short of their first dual-meet victory on Wednesday night
* Behrend and Pitt-Bradford were tied at 27-all at the end of the 10 bouts
* The Panthers won a point on the criteria for most six-point wins, edging the Lions 4-3
* Sophomore Michael Binni (Canonsburg, PA/Canon McMillan) picked up a win by forfeit to improve to 12-8 on the season
* Jake Ognibene (Washington, PA/Chartiers-Houston) competed for the first time this season, earning an 11-3 major decision at 157
* Brandon Miller (Hermitage, PA/Hickory) also won his bout at 197 with his first technical fall of the season (17-0)
