ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team finished second out of three teams with a score of 55 at the annual PSB Invitational held on Friday evening.

* Mt. Union ran to the first-place finish with a team score of 15
* The Purple Raiders took the Top 5 spots in the race
* Senior Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) was the top runner for the Behrend Lions
* Carr crossed the finish line 1:09 behind the leader for eighth place in 23:30.1
* Last year's runner up at the meet, Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy), was ninth overall and on the heels of Carr with a time of 23:51.4
* Freshmen Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) and Bethany Litwiler (Reynolds, PA/Reynolds) were third and fifth in the Behrend lineup
* Hartle clocked in at 24:24.0 for 11th place and Litwiler ran to 14th place overall with a time of 25:10.8
* Megan Swantner (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) sandwiched the freshmen, taking 13th place and fourth on the team in 24:58.8
* Alfred came in third place (76) and Westminster registered an incomplete score
