ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team will hold their annual PSB Invitational at the Behrend Fields on Friday, Sep. 15. The 8K race begins at 6:30 p.m.

News & Notes

* The Lions are running their first 8K race of the year
* Behrend began the season with a 5K at the Westminster Invitational on Sep. 1, finishing second as a team
* Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) led the way for the Lions, earning a ninth-place finish with a time of 16:23.2
* Sophomore Bennett Kerr (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) was the next Behrend runner to cross the finish line, notching 12th place (16:40.48)
* The Lions finished second in last season's invite with a team score of 51, trumping Alfred, Westminster and a Behrend alumni team. Mt. Union was victorious with a team score of 15
* Four runners secured eighth through 11^th place finishes with top 10 finishes from Aidan Domenic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) coming in eighth place with a time of 28:07.5 and Klein running a time of 28:20.3 for ninth overall
