GENESEO, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished with a team score of 587 to place 21st at the Mike Woods Invitational hosted by Geneseo.

* Freshman Lucas Boyd (North East, PA/North East) led the way for the Lions with a time of 25:58.4 for a 129th place finish
* This is the first time in Boyd's career that he has run a sub 26 in an 8K race
* The next top finishers for Behrend were Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep), Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley, and Nicolin Pierce (Erie, PA/McDowell)
* Klein scored a 157th place finish, running a time of 26:18.2
* Domencic and Pierce registered times of 26:44.5 and 26:59.3 to cross the finish line at 188th and 201st, respectively
