Lions Compete at Youngstown St. Invitational

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team competed at the Youngstown St. Invitational on Friday.

A year after six indoor school records fell, Victoria Harwood (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven) broke the 400m run record that lasted for four years.  Harwood finished with a time of 1:01.24 for a 12th place finish.

Catie Bertges (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) ran strong in the 5000m run.  The sophomore distance runner finished with a time of 19:04.05 to take seventh place.

The Lions will be back in action on Saturday at the Mt. Union Invitational.  Start time is 10 a.m.
