The blue and white took on the Fredonia State Blue Devils in non-league action.  The Behrend Lions took a 3-0 loss 25-22,25-22, and 25-19.  Behrend falls to 11-6 overall with the loss.

Freshman Danielle Kindle (Erie/McDowell) was a bright spot for the Behrend Lions.  Smacking six kills on 12 attacks with two blocks.  Danielle Woods (Pittsburgh/Baldwin) contributed four kills on six attacks to go with her ten digs.  Lauren Dalton (Cochranton/Cochranton) added seven kills and five digs.

Penn State Behrend will have to recover quickly from the loss as they take on AMCC foe Hilbert on Wednesday, October 1, 2008.  The match will be held at Hilbert College at 7:00 p.m. They will be back in the Junker Center on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m. when they take on Franciscan.
