HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team won its fifth straight game Wednesday night against Hilbert, 75-50, in the Junker Center.

* The Lions applied the pressure early to the Hawks, taking a 26-5 after the first quarter
* Behrend continued its strong offensive and defensive performance in the second quarter, securing its largest lead of the game (41-7) with five minutes left in the half
* Morgan Altavilla (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) and Lilly Palladino (Export, PA/Penn-Trafford) both led the way in the first half with 10 points each
* In the first half, Behrend shot 62.9 percent from the field (22-35) and held the Hawks to only 22.7 percent (5-22)

* For the Hawks, Kelsey Schlagenhauf tallied a team-high 17 points to go along with eight rebounds, while Alesia Hamm recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds
* As a team, Behrend finished 29-58 from the field (50.0 percent) and 6-15 from three (40.0 percent). The Lions capitalized off Hilbert's turnovers, scoring 27 points off 27 giveaways
