ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team posted a 71-61 victory over Penn State Altoona in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) on Saturday afternoon.

* The Lions used a 23-10 third quarter to regain the lead and defeat the Altoona Lions to complete the season sweep
* Emily Munson made a layup with 30 seconds left in the second quarter to give Altoona 32-31 lead
* The Altoona Lions took a one-point lead one more time in the third but a Madilyn Boyer (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) layup followed by a Morgan Altavilla (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) triple put the Behrend Lions on top for good
* By the end of the third quarter, Behrend had a 10-point lead
* Four of the five starters finished with double-digit points
* Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) had eight of her team-best 25 points in the third quarter
* Altavilla had her second double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds
