ALFRED, NY – Morgan Altavilla (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) and Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) had career highs to lead the Penn State Behrend women's basketball team past Alfred State in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) on Wednesday night.

* Altavilla scored a game-high 34 points and pulled down a team-best eight boards, while Majewski tallied 33 points
* Altavilla recorded 11 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Lions break a 69-all tie with 9:22 remaining in the game
* Behrend outscored the Pioneers 24-10 in the final 10 minutes to make the difference
* The Lions went on a 10-1 run in the last 4:44 of the game to hold off Alfred State on the road
* Behrend built a double-digit lead in the first quarter and got its biggest lead of the game with seven minutes left in the second quarter
* The Pioneers three-point shooting kept them in the game, going 11-for-19 for 57.9 percent

* Alexis Furyes (Medina, OH/Highland) added seven rebounds, three blocks, three steals and two assists
* As a team, the Lions shot 45.1 percent from the floor and Alfred State managed 44.3 percent
