Meadville, Pa.- The Penn State Behrend men’s golf program placed 12th out of 16 teams in the annual Guy W. Kuhn Invitational, shooting a team low-score of 322 Monday.

Allegheny (295) tied with Carnegie Mellon for first place in the golf outing, followed by McDaniel (296), Point Park (299) and Washington & Jefferson (301). The weekend’s top performer was Ian Bangor of CMU who posted a 71 on a Par 72 course.

The Lions low scorer was Kevin Koerbel, who tied for 20th in field of 84 competitors and shot a 76. David Phillips who placed 37th, finished +6 while Marc Neiswonger carded an 80. The fourth and fifth golfers in the lineup for Behrend were Kyle Meehl and Michael Sabolcik, who shot an 88 and a 94 respectively.

The Lions will host the Behrend Invitational at Peak n’ Peek Thursday, opening tee-off is scheduled for 12 p.m.
