GIBSONIA, Pa. – Kevin Koerbel, a member of the Penn State Behrend golf team, was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Golfer of the Week for the week Aug. 30-Sept. 5.  It is the first time he has earned this honor.

Koerbel was the individual medalist, carding a team-low score of 76 at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational at the first outing for the Lions this fall on Saturday. The junior was a member of the Behrend blue team that finished third overall with a score of 334. The white team came in second place with a total of 332.

The Lions are back in action on Sept. 14 at D’Youville. Tee time is TBA.
