Lions Compete at Ohio State Tune-Up

COLUMBUS, OH - The Penn State Behrend men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Ohio State Tune-Up Friday evening.

Paige Allen (Butler, PA/Butler) moved up the NCAA ranks, finishing third in the 200 meter dash. Her time of 25.74 was just .27 seconds behind the first-place finisher.

On the men's side, Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) placed third in the 800 meter run. The senior logged a 1:55.26 time.

Mitch Obenrader (Fryburg, PA/North Clarion) and Luke Patten (West Middlesex, PA/West Middlesex) both placed in their respective field events. Obenrader came in eighth in the shot put with a toss of 16.30 meters while Patten vaulted to a fifth-place finish with a height of 4.83 meters.

The Lions will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to Kenyon for a 12 p.m. meet.
