BRADFORD, Pa.  – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team opened Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) play with a 3-0 win over Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday night.

Final Score: Behrend 3, Pitt-Bradford 0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-15)
Records: Penn State Behrend (12-4, 1-0 AMCC), Pitt-Bradford (3-13, 0-1 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The Lions had a season-high .402 attack percentage to go with a season-low six attack errors
* Behrend also defeated the Panthers with a season-low 82 total attacks
* Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) recorded a team-high 11 kills and eight digs, along with four assists and three service aces
* Meg Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) had 32 assists, five kills and two aces in three sets
* The Lions never trailed in the match
* At 22-17 in the first set, the Lions won the last three points on a kill from Phillips and Goodsel along with a service ace by Ava Miller (Sheffield Village, OH/Brookside)
* Behrend found itself in the same situation in the second and third set, winning the final three points for the win
