Three Named to All-AMCC Women's Volleyball Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team had three players named to the 2023 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team.

Seniors Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) and Meg Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) landed on the first team, while Breana Reynolds (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was voted to the second team.

Phillips, the 2023 Preseason Player of the Year, is making her third appearance on the first team. She ranked fourth in AMCC play with 111 kills and in kills per set (3.58). Overall, Phillips was fourth in the AMCC in kills and is third in kills per set (3.50). She posted 16 double-doubles this season with 20 contests recording double-digit digs. Phillips also added 35 aces, 30 assists and 21 blocks. For the season, she had 289 digs and 345 kills.

Goodsel was named to the first team after being on the third team a year ago. The senior setter reached 1,500 career assists this season and ranked first overall in AMCC play in assists per set. She was also first in overall assists with 888 and second in the conference (304). Goodsel nearly had two triple-doubles this season, instead she tallied eight double-doubles. She had a season-high 49 assists in a win over Thiel.

Reynolds is earning her first All-AMCC accolade. She was first overall and second in AMCC action in hitting percentage. She hit .364 and had 87 kills in nine conference matches, while registering 262 overall kills this season. Reynolds also ranked 10th overall in block assists (34). Reynolds also posted double-digit kills in 14 matches, while hitting a career-high .786 in a win over Wells.
