ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team defeated the reigning Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Champions, Alfred State, by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Final Score: Behrend 3, Alfred State 1 (25-11, 22-25, 25-17, 25-13)

Key Moments:
* Meg Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) was one dig shy of a triple-double to lead the Lions
* Goodsel hit .444 with 10 kills, 30 assists, nine digs and three aces
* Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) had a team-high 13 kills and 20 digs for the double-double
* Maura Benim (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) matched her career high in digs with 15, while Sara Noback (Athens, MI/Athens) registered 19 digs
* Behrend tallied a match-high 14 kills and had a .382 attack percentage for a quick 25-11 first-set victory
* Phillips and Benim each had four kills to give Behrend the first lead of the match
* Alfred State knocked down 18 kills in the second set to even the match at 1-all with a 25-22 decision
* With four lead changes and nine ties in the third set, the Lions forced 15 errors and registered nine kills to get the 25-17 victory
* Goodsel led the fourth set with seven assists and a team-best four kills to close out the match much like the first at 25-13
* The win snaps a two-match losing streak to the Pioneers
