ERIE, Pa. – In honor of Division III Week, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) is recognizing student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher as of the Fall 2021 semester as Academic All-Conference.

The Behrend Lions had 191 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Conference Team. Out of the 191 athletes, the Lions had 108 earning individual Peak Performers for posting a GPA of 3.5 or higher. The Lions also had 61 student-athletes selected for induction into Chi Alpha Sigma, a National Collegiate Student-Athlete Honor Society.

Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes college student-athletes who participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full time semester, and earn a 3.4 or higher cumulative grade point average. Student-athletes who compete for a collegiate club team are also eligible if the club team is overseen by the athletics department at the local chapter.
