Lions to Host Mavericks in Midweek Matchup

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team is set to square off with Medaille on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Eastland Bowl.

Behrend News & Notes:
* The Lions face a quick turnaround after five matches on Saturday at the La Roche Invite
* Behrend went 1-4 in baker format on Saturday
* The Lions defeated Penn State Altoona by a commanding 159 pins (840-681)
* Behrend posted their second highest baker score of the season agaisnt St. Vincent (851)
* Overall, the Lions are sixth in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) in average per frame with a 14.645
* Reegan Malis (Butler, PA/Butler)  and Bella Pilyih (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) lead the Lions in overall frame average with a 15.88 and an 18.81, respectively
* Natalie Denny (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) has averaged 15.03 through 112 completed frames

Medaille News & Notes:
* The Mavericks are the AMCC favorite to win the conference and are currently 18-15
* Medaille hasn't been in action since November 7 when they hosted a weekend tournament, placing second following a loss to Roberts Wesleyan in the final match
* Sarah Radt leads the Mavericks in almost every statistical category, including a 18.97 frame average
* Radt was also tabbed the AMCC's Preseason Player of the Year
* Head coach Jeff Walsh is in his first year at the helm after spending two seasons as the associate head coach and five total with the program
