Women's Bowling Heads to Buffalo for Medaille Invite This Weekend

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team hits the road to Classic Lanes in Buffalo, NY for the Medaille Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. This will be the Lions second trip to the Queen City for such event, as the Mavericks hosted another invite in early November, resulting in a 1-9 weekend for Behrend.

Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions are coming off a 3-2 performance during the Br. Pat Lacey Memorial Tournament, hosted by St. Vincent
* Behrend picked up a victory over Pitt-Bradford and two over La Roche
* Reegan Malis (Butler, PA/Butler) shined with the Lions two-highest scores, being a 183 and 179
* Bella Pilyih (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) carried the highest average on the day with a 162.8
* Pilyih is also 12th in the conference in traditional average
* The Lions captured the No. 4 seed for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournament with a conference mark of 9-7
