ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team has added a varsity/junior varsity doubleheader at home against two-time defending national champion Marietta on Sunday.
The nine-inning varsity game will begin at 12 p.m., followed by a seven-inning junior varsity contest. The Lions (20-8) have won the last 13 out of 16 games and are coming off a split with conference foe La Roche on Thursday.
The Pioneers are ranked No. 6 in the recent Division III poll. Marietta is scheduled to play a key Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader at John Carroll on Saturday and then travel to Behrend for the match up on Sunday.
