ERIE, Pa. – Senior Vinny Rice has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Baseball Player of the Week, announced on Monday.

Rice led the Lions to a perfect 6-0 record with an excellent week at the plate.  He hit .579 (11-19) with seven runs scored and four RBIs.  Rice scored the game winning run in the top of the eighth of a tie ball game with Pitt-Bradford on Sunday.  Through Sunday, Rice had a 10-game hit streak and was second on the team with 23 hits and 11 RBIs.
