ERIE, Pa. – Freshman Jacob Parsons (Titusville, PA/Maplewood) was chosen as the ECAC Rookie of the Week after his strong performance at the Dickinson Invitational on Saturday.
In Parsons fourth race of the year, he had a breakout performance for the Lions running an 8k time of 27:37.15, finishing 44th out of 233 runners. Parsons was also named AMCC Athlete of the Week.
Behrend will return to action October 11th at 11:00 am at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
